Extensive travel throughout all islands in the Caribbean. Additionally, Central & South America, Europe, Australia, and unique destinations like Mauritius, Hawaii, and other remote tropical destinations.

As a travel and outdoor photojournalist Dale places an emphasis on being on hand to cover events in targeted tropical locations.  Hence, he keeps a sportfish on the Florida Gulf Coast, and lives on a freshwater lake north of Tampa with a trailerable bass boat for inland water related assignments.

Dale was one of the first to convert to digital photography many years ago.  Thus, he has an extensive Pro Nikon digital system, and Nikonos underwater system, while still retaining film camera bodies if needed.  Additionally, Dale utilizes a specialty housed camera for shooting "over under" shots in water.  He also maintains a very sophisticated digital scanning and post production studio utilizing Photoshop CS, and a Nikon 16 bit scanner.

- Dale holds a degree in Oceanography & Marine Geology from the University Of South Florida.
- As a past President of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association ( www.fowa.org ), Dale lead this 50+ year media organization into the internet publishing era, as well as the new millenium.  Dale is presently the Committee Chair of FOWA's Past-Presidents' Council.
- Dale is an active media member of South East Outdoor Press Association ( www.seopa.org ).
- Dale is currently the Travel Editor for Antique Bottle and Glass Collector magazine.
- Dale is also an active member of the North American Travel Journalist Association ( www.natja.org ).
- Dale has received over a dozen Excellence In Craft awards from nationally recognized media organizations for his work in photojournalism, travel writing, photography, outdoor writing, and underwater photography.

Dale has also prearranged and coordinated location commercial photo-shoots for camera and video crews on the following islands or locations: Cozumel, Antigua, Grand Cayman, Lighthouse Reef Belize, St. Martin, Cayman Brac, Bonaire, Ambergris Cay Belize, Little Cayman, Sint Maarten, Florida Gulf Coast, Curacao, Akumal Mexico, St. Lucia, Bimini Bahamas, and three shoots on Aruba.
